125th Anniversary Site - Notes on Use
These pages were produced as part of the Engineering Department's 125th anniversary celebrations. During
those 125 years, Engineering as a subject underwent exceptional transformations. We hope you will enjoy
finding out about our discoveries and inventions and we would like to introduce you to some of the exciting
research that is currently being carried out at Cambridge.
This website is intended to be interactive and fun, and makes use of multimedia features. The full version requires JavaScript and Macromedia Flash and Shockwave
plug-ins, and is primarily targeted at PCs running Windows and at Macintosh computers. A simplified version has also been developed, which does not
require Javascript or these plug-ins. However, but browsers should have image viewing enabled for ease of
use.
