CUED users can include a file called keyboard.gif, for example, into a
document to be processed with latex
by doing gif2ps -b keyboard.gif (as long as you don't change the
GIF file you need only do this once) and then including the
GIF file as you would a postscript one.
JPEG files can be added directly to document that will be processed with
pdflatex. To be included a
document to be processed with latex they'll need to be converted.
For JPEG files run "jpeg2ps -h file.jpg >
file.eps" then include the postscript file in the usual way.
The resulting eps file will be little bigger than the original
file. Alternatively, if you put the 'Bounding Box' line from the eps file and put it in file.jpg.bb you can include JPEG files in
the same way that you do postscript files.
