Division E IT Technician

The role holder is required to provide front-line IT support, under the supervision of the Divisional IT Manager, for Division E’s staff and students and for its computing infrastructure. The computer systems are predominately Windows based but there are also Apple Mac and Unix based systems. These systems provide support for teaching and research, computer labs, printing facilities and central file store at the Institute for Manufacturing. The role holder reports to the Division E IT manager and for technical matters/career development to the Deputy Head the IT services group.
