EDC IT Manager

The role holder is responsible for ensuring that the EDC’s computer systems continue to meet the demands placed upon them by their users, as well as facilitating the effective use of computers in the pursuit of the EDC’s research. This is achieved in two ways: first, by maintaining a stable and reliable system infrastructure, and secondly, by providing accessible support, advice and development for all computer-related issues in the EDC. The role holder reports to the Director of the EDC for day-to-day line management; and to the Deputy Head (Research Support) of the IT Services Division for IT policy and technical guidance.
