Signal Processing Group IT Manager

The role of the Signal Processing and Communications Laboratory IT Manager is to ensure that the Laboratory computer systems continue to meet the demands placed upon them by their users and to facilitate the effective use of computers in pursuit of the research and teaching activities of the Laboratory. This is achieved by developing and maintaining stable and reliable systems and infrastructure, and by providing accessible support, advice and development for all computer related issues in the Laboratory.

The role holder reports to a member of the academic staff with designated responsibility for computing for day-to-day line management; and to the Divisional IT manager for divisional policy and technical guidance.
