Cambridge University's Institute for Manufacturing is working with Sofa & Co to help them meet the challenges of a 50% increase in demand following the opening of its new retail outlets.
The Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) and Wolfson College held a topping out ceremony for a purpose-designed facility to allow Wolfson and the IfM to expand their educational programmes.
A blue plaque placed in honour of Sir Frank Whittle, will be unveiled at the main entrance to The Department of Engineering at 14.00 on Tuesday 13 January, 2004.
