Elham (Fatemeh) Asadi obtained a BSc in aerospace engineering in 2005 and a MSc in flight dynamics and control in 2008, both from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. After that, she worked in different industrial sectors and held various roles including control system engineer and systems engineer for five years. She then moved to the UK to pursue her Ph.D. studies at the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bristol. In 2016, she completed her PhD with research on distributed model predictive control. Since then she has been a research associate at the University of Cambridge. Elham is specialized in the applications of different control theories to problems in autonomous vehicles, optimization, air traffic management and trajectory design.
