Research interests
Luis joined DigiTwin in January 2020 and works in the development of a methodology to determine the optimal use of computer models and data during the design stage of an engineering system. His investigation focuses on the propagation of uncertainties through a ‘digital twin’ and decision making in the presence of uncertainties. Luis completed his MSc in Mechanical Engineering Design at the University of Manchester and his PhD at the University of Cambridge His doctoral research has been focused in the development of statistical vibro-acoustic models of nonlinear systems with applications in vehicles, a project funded by Bose Corporation
