Biography

Ms. Ariyachandra is a PhD Student in Engineering at the Construction Information Technology group of the Laing O'Rourke Centre sponsored by Cambridge Commonwealth European and International Trust (Cambridge Trust) and Bentley Systems (UK) Limited. She is expected to graduate in 2021. Mahendrini holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka where she was awarded Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award. She has working experience as a lecturer in the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. Her research project for the PhD is focused on "Generation of Geometric Digital Twins for Existing Rail Infrastructure". She is supervised by Dr Ioannis Brilakis. Mahendrini is a member of Lucy Cavendish College.
