AIMS
To provide a more thorough understanding of the two-dimensional and three-dimensional flow fields within axial-flow and radial-flow turbomachines. To provide an appreciation of current design methods and the parameters which determine the overall layout and design of turbomachines.

Turbomachine aerodynamics and installations

COURSEWORK
A computational exercise using standard numerical methods for turbomachinery design and analysis. To demonstrate blade-blade flows and hub-casing flows.
