Introduction to Industrial Experience:
The Cambridge University Engineering Department (CUED) has just over 1200 undergraduate engineering students on the four year M.Eng course and they are all encouraged to broaden their knowledge and increase their skills via a period spent with an engineering related organisation. This normally takes place during the long summer vacation.
These pages are designed to help you understand the role of industrial experience within the framework of the CUED course and to try and meet your needs whether you are a prospective student, a current undergraduate student or you are a representative of a company or organisation considering the employment of a CUED undergraduate during the summer vacation period.
