The link provides you with information about work permits and UK Government regulations for undergraduate placements, as well as some links to information concerning full time employment in the UK on graduation.

Industrial Experience Guide

CUED also provides an "Industrial Experience Guide" for undergraduate students to assist them in finding industrial placements. This can be downloaded via the Links on the right hand side of the page.

Cambridge Undergraduates Transferring to CUED ~ "Migrants"

Every year a small number of undergraduates from other Cambridge Departments see the light, and transfer from another Cambridge University Department to Engineering. If you want to do that, you need to assess how much Industrial Experience you might require to satisfy the examiners. An outline for "migrants" is available, if you are still not clear as to what is needed, contact the Industrial Placement Co-ordinator and he will lead you through the dark forest to the sunlit uplands of knowledge.
