Introduction to CHOICE
On those dull quiet evenings in your College or at home during your vacations, you can surf away and try to find a suitable organisation to consider you for an industrial experience opportunity.
CUED operates and maintains the CHOICE Industrial Experience Contacts Database containing nearly 2500 employer records with contact details and information about organisations in the UK and overseas who might offer industrial experience to undergraduate engineering students. You can use the database to send speculative applications and/or apply for specific opportunities on offer.
Rules and regulations
Before you use the database you might care to note that there are some guidelines that you are expected to adhere to when dealing with the employers that we collaborate with. The Etiquette Link to the right will appraise you of how we would like you to handle yourself.
Database access
The database is provided for CUED students and staff only and you will need your Raven password to access it.
Maintenance
Please report any changes/broken links etc. The data changes continually and of course we make mistakes too. There is a mechanism in the database to enable you to alert us to any incorrect information.
