Transferring or Migrating from Other Triposes
Migration during the First Year (Part 1A) or the Second Year (Part 1B)
Students transferring at this stage will have to meet the full eight weeks of the CUED industrial experience requirements.
Migration into or during the Third Year (Engineering Part 2)
If you migrate to CUED from another department in the third year to read engineering (Part 2) after having completed your Part 1B studies in another Cambridge University Department, you are only required to complete four weeks relevant industrial experience in order to graduate. However you should note that the experience undertaken can be relevant to any of the Engineering disciplines covered in the entire BA course, regardless of whether it is chosen as a specialism in third and fourth Year.
