Sponsorship & Awards
- Sponsorship has been in decline over the last 10 years but has now steadied
out at 5% of CUED students in the most recent entry. Many of the large companies have
discontinued their structured schemes which offered full course and pre-year
sponsorships. However there are still opportunities and here are some potential
sources of information.
- INSPIRE SCHOLARSHIPS offer sponsorship to students plaaning to go and work in the Construction Industry on graduation. The awards are worth up to £9000.
- There are a number of AWARDS
available to Undergraduate Engineers, the majority of them aimed at those
already on the course. However there are a number of awards that are universal
and available to students irrespective of which University they study at.
