During Lent Term an event called 'World Theatre Show' is organised whose aim is both linguistic and cultural. Students are encouraged to work in a team and to use their imagination and ingenuity to solve an engineering problem which is set by themselves. The solution to the problem is then to be communicated in Chinese, French, German, Japanese or Spanish in any form chosen (playlet, lecture, seminar, song, poem, TV programme etc...), to fellow students. The best group in each language is rewarded by prizes, sponsored mainly by Schlumberger. This event will be held on Thursday, 21st February 2013.

Details for registration for the World Theatre Show are made available during Lent term.
