Research Interests

Flow around airfoil NACA0012
Although initially trained as a pure mathematician,
my real passion has migrated to applied sciences.
I have been experimenting with classic numerical methods:
Finite Difference, Finite Volume
and Finite Element Methods. My real expertise lies, however,
on Interface Tracking Method and the modelling of the
physical phenomena on the interface. I am among the early
pioneers who worked out independently
a second order Volume of Fluid (VOF) method, a very popular
interface tracking method nowadays.
I have also worked on:
Computational Methods
Fluid Mechanics
-
Inkjet Printing
-
Multiphase Flows
-
Non-Newtonian Fluid Flows
-
Surfactant Problem
-
Fluid-Structure Interaction.
