PhD Princeton, 1991; BSME University of São Paulo, 1985; Associate Professor, MIT (1991-1999); Principal investigator, Sandia National Laboratories (1999-2000); Managing Engineer, Exponent Inc. (2000-2002); Professor, University of Cambridge, 2002. Here in the UK people like adding little letters next to names, so here are mine: PhD, FRAeS.
Research description
Our research is in the area of reacting flows, including turbulent and laminar flames, flame dynamics, laminar flame speeds and high pressure reacting flows. Prior research has been in the area of engines combustion, pollutant formation and autoignition.
