Department role and responsibilities

I am the manager of the Design Project Office here at the Cambridge University, Department of Engineering.

My primary role is to ensure the smooth operation of the DPO throughout term times and assist students with any questions they may have about the Drawing course.

I also provide assistance with the Lego Mindstorm course which can prove to be fun and entertaining. 

Other responsibilities include maintaining over 100 Technical Drawing boards and associated equipment. I devise timetables for each term, liaising with various Lecturers, Departments and other associates to ensure the Drawing Course runs effectively and efficiently. I also manage the online booking system for the DPO clusters.

I am currently training to be a First Aid Officer which is due to be completed in December 2016.

I am located in Office No: BN1-03 which I share with the Outreach Officer, Maria Kettle.
