Research Interests

Design and fabrication of micro- and nano-scale sensory systems and in their applications to the monitoring and study of the natural and built environment. Current research thrusts include (1) MEMS based integrated platforms for biological sensing, (2) micro- and nano-mechanical resonators as precision physical sensors, (3) enhanced electrical interfaces for micro- and nano-mechanical systems and (4) nanostructured surfaces in MEMS.
