The Arthur Shercliff Memorial Trust which was established to promote technical visits abroad by
undergraduates and graduate students, offers two scholarships, valued at £900 each, one to be awarded
in the Engineering Department at Cambridge University and the other in the Engineering Department of Warwick
University.
Applications from student members of the Cambridge and Warwick Departments of Engineering, containing (on a
single side of paper) a proposal for a technical visit together with a sealed reference from an academic
staff member, should be made to the Head of the respective Department by Friday 2nd February 2001.
It is expected that awards will be announced on Friday 9 March 2001.
