Members of the Department of Engineering secure funding to develop a probe that can be used to determine the quality of human livers prior to organ transplant.
Neill Campbell of Gonville & Caius college, a final year student in the Department, received a Siemens medal from Alan Wood, Chief Executive of Siemens plc.
At an awards ceremony at the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) on Tuesday 25 October, six members of the Department received awards for research papers published in 2004.
