Research Associate in Active Flow Control for Flap-less Flight
Academic Division: Energy, Fluids and Turbomachinery

Research interests
My postdoc research is on trailing edge blowing flow control for wings; specifically focusing on Reynolds number effects related to mixing of the surface turbulent boundary layer with the trailing edge jet around a curved trailing edge surface.
PhD research: Marie-Curie actions project TEAMAero (https://h2020-teamaero.eu/) on oblique shock wave boundary layer interactions and shock control bumps.
Previous Master's level work focused on rapidly rotating bodies in supersonic flow and moving shock wave reflections on air-water interfaces.
Department role and responsibilities
3rd year compressible fluid mechanics (3A3) supervision
Supersonic wind tunnel lab demonstration
4th year/Master's project co-supervision
