Biography
Wei MU (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Cambridge Power Electronics Laboratory, University of Cambridge. He completed his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering in 2019 and 2022, respectively, at Xi'an Jiaotong University. Between 2017 and 2019, he undertook a double degree program at CentraleSupélec, Université Paris-Saclay, in Gif-sur-Yvette, France, where he obtained his second Master's degree in General Engineering (Grade de Master - Diplôme d'Ingénieur).
His research includes packaging design, reliability, AI-empowered condition monitoring, thermal management of power converters, and the application and integration of wide bandgap power semiconductors.
