The Department of Engineering will host Virtual Open Days on 5-13 July 2021 aimed at prospective applicants in Year 12 (or equivalent), in conjunction with the Cambridge Open Days. Parents/guardians and supporters are also invited to attend.
We hope to capture a real flavour of our very popular in-person open days with this virtual event. You will be able to ask academics questions and see video and other content which shows what being an engineering student at Cambridge is like.
John Durrell
Prospective applicants will be given an overview of the Department and its facilities, as well as information on the course structure and the different areas of Engineering open to students during their studies.
Prospective applicants can also register for a webinar featuring a panel of academics. This year, the entirety of each webinar will be devoted to live Q&A sessions for prospective students. Videos with information about our course, the application process and the Engineering specialisations available at Cambridge, will be permanently available on our Open Day Talks page.
A new addition for 2021 is the chance to ‘walk’ around our undergraduate teaching areas by following our 360° virtual tour. See the spaces where you will learn. Take a look.
