Department role and responsibilities
As the Technical Manager for the Dyson Centre for Engineering Design I oversee the operation of the undergraduate project space in the Department of Engineering. As a student facing makerspace the facility supports and host a vast range of activities including taught project-based modules, personal interest projects, student society builds, and an extensive collection of outreach activities. My highly skilled and experienced team provide guidance, training, and insight across technical areas such as machining, sheet metal working, rapid prototyping, design, and risk analysis.
