Research interests

Hong Ge’s research focuses on theory and algorithms for learning, inference, reasoning and decision-making.

Hong is interested in the theoretical and computational foundations of Intelligence, including algorithms for learning, inference, reasoning, and decision-making.

Biography

Hong Ge obtained his PhD from Cambridge in 2016 and was a Junior Research Fellow at Darwin College. His current research focuses on machine learning. He has also worked on applications for pandemic forecasting and various large-scale data modelling problems.

Hong created the Turing language for probabilistic programming.
