Biography

Nicola Cavaleri teaches English for Engineers, German, as well as academic, communication, and study skills at CLIC, supporting students and researchers in maximising their potential at CUED.

Diverse educational, cultural and career opportunities worldwide enabled Nicola to develop a rich background in teaching and learning, research development, teacher training and educational management. Her expertise lies in the areas of research skills (English academic writing and presentation skills), professional communication skills, learning strategies and the influence of different cultural and rhetorical frameworks on engineers’ performance in both academia and industry.  

With over 25 years of experience teaching and working with Cambridge students and researchers across departments and in various colleges, she is passionate about empowering people to excel.
