Research interests
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge, working with Professor Jonathan Cullen and Dr André Cabrera Serrenho. I have an interdisciplinary background in Materials Science, Construction Management, and Sustainable Built Environment.
My research focuses on digital governance of urban construction and demolition waste (C&DW), addressing a growing environmental challenge shared by cities worldwide.
My research combines interdisciplinary knowledge of materials science and architectural engineering with urban big data techniques to prevent C&DW generation and initiate circular utilization of C&DW. It encompasses two interconnected topics:
(1) Big data-driven building stock renewal decisions for C&DW prevention at source;
(2) AI-powered circular utilization strategies of C&DW in urban systems.
